You could stay at Kalaloch Lodge which is right on the coast. It's beautifully situated and reasonably located not too far from the road leading inland to the Hoh rain forest. They have cabins in addition to rooms in the main lodge.

Also you could hit Ruby Beach on the way down for some fun tidepool and seastack photos.

If you're not interested in Kalaloch, you could camp at Mora campground not far from La Push and Rialto Beach/Hole in the Wall. Second & Third Beach are also some of my favorites, although you have to hike a couple miles instead of drive-up like at Rialto and Ruby.

If you're interested in backcountry camping/backpacking you can head down Rialto beach, past Hole in the Wall and keep heading onwards and camp on the beach. Although you'll have to find an Olympic Nat'l Park ranger station to get your backcountry passes and bear canisters.

Hope this helps!
