300d autofocus problem

Hello,
I have had my 300d for 15 months. I have had no problems until yesterday and a wedding Brunch shoot. After about 2 hours or 40 images shot, the Autofcus would not work. I tried all 5 of my lenses and it did the same with all of them. It wont focus and shoot in any mode when on Autofocus? I had no problem Manual Focusing and shooting but for dome reason it wont shoot on when the lense is on Auto. Any idea's? do I need to take it to be serviced?

What exposure mode or autofocus mode was the camera in?

The auto and apeture priorty modes I was using. I have tried all my lenese on all the modes. I tried both manual modes and auto modes and it just seems very slow in focusing even with my double battery pack and my efs is 17-85 lense which is usually lightning quick to focus, it just seems very slow and will not focus.
