this is a lovely shot. I actually almost got teary... it reminded me of those early days and late nights with my own little girl... it's one of those pictures that "speaks" to me... tells a story, one so many of us know. (mommy's)... and I love that the binky is so clear... "I love mommy"....

really and truly lovely shot!!

This sort of shot is why I ignore those who dismiss high-ISO performance and tout flash as a panacea.

This is really excellent. Everyone's comments are right on. Lots of emotion, nostalgia and great composition. Excellent work!

**peek** Nothing better than this....
A mother loving her baby.. and having him rest oh so peacefully on her shoulder... I hope this is going to print up and find a home somewhere... :)

Lovely Maureen...

How Ironic...

I swiped it from a site with Baby Quotes for Scrapbooking.

Coincidence? I think not...

Me? Nah...

The Mrs was into it for a while but she never went whole hog.

Instead, she found jewelery making. For some odd reason, she gets more satisfaction out of beating the heck out of copper and silver than she did out of using Pinking Shears... ;)
