Odd 20 Behavior

Seems like my 20D occassionally looses some of my shots. There a two I definately remember taking that were not there when I went to download. Anyone else experience anything like this? Any ideas what'z up?

I've heard of a few cases where this has happened but those were with people using the 1DmkII. I'm now starting to hear about 20D owners experiencing the same problem. What type of card were you using? Others who have reported the problem were using the Lexar 80X card but I have no idea whether that was just coincidental or not.

Has error 99 msg come up on the screen? You probably lost that shot. Use a card reader to download to your computer. I have many diff CF cards including Lexar 80X and have not had any lost pix (out of 30,000 and counting.) I do not use any of the software that came with the camera, either. Are you sure you are missing a pix? Depending on the continous shooting, settings, etc. it can just seem like you took more.

I have had this problem using Sandisk. Dont know that it is the card or not

Mine was a Sandisk Ultra II card. I'm pretty sure I took shots that were not there when I downloaded, but it is possible I intened to take it and was distracted, though I don't think so.
