first studio shoot

I had the opportunity to borrow a friend's studio equipment and after a brief lesson here are a couple of shots of my kids.

The first shot of my son, I used a 4 leaf barn door and 30 degree honey comb grid. The second shot of both my kids (actually smiling and looking at the camera at the same time lol) I used 2 alien bee flash units with gold/silver umbrellas.

These are good for a first try for sure. The 2nd shot looks like the WB is a bit off, and the background needs to be dodged a bit. Also i noticed there are a couple of hot spots on their foreheads. If you had your "image editing ok" on im sure someone could fix it for you and tell you what they did.

Great pics! I really love the first one... The second, again needs a little professional editing... Other than that, great job!
