Since Lyla has been born, we take her to the crosses of all the war vets in our area, seeing as my uncle was one of them, and we take pictures. Here are some from this yr. Even though it was 630 in the evening, the sun was still bright, but overall, I am happy with the way they turned out...I know I will get crap for the 1st one, seeing as how I did a partial color and everyone here hates them, but it just felt appropriate!

I'll break the ice to simply say Thank You to your family for their service and sacrifice.

Situations and scenes like this are very, very difficult to critique simply becuase they're so personal. There may be technical details that aren't "perfect" but frankly, they pale in comparison to the emotion(s) of the situation.

The concept of "across generations" is wonderful and I'm sure your Mom will love the collage.

FWIW, the 4th image is the most impactful to me.

Thank you for your reply. I understand what you are saying. I mean, I did not think they were anything fantastical or anything haha, I just wanted SOME input!

I really like the 4th. I have many people in my family that served in the military, and i love these. Great collage as well.
