Check out this portrait of my girlfriend/prom date. Only available sunlight used on pier 9 in San Francisco. Picture came out appearing overexposed, but pulled to black background, softened, and brought out features.

I think im going to explore wedding photography. :D This is my first non landscape/nature/architecture pic in my whole dern portfolio.

If anyone asks i can post original....maybe... as long as no one here lives in the bay area

Ive framed and shown this picture around to photographically lay people and ive had the comment that ive cropped out the top of her head [didnt take seriously until her mom noted such] I like it like that. Her full head was in my original frame and i did it intentionally

Any comments on my choice??

Nice job!

My husband has a thing about me cropping out the top of the heads as well. I think it looks nice like that. I think there is a point where the crop can go too far, but you did a wonderful job here.

Great shot Rich. Very impressive work for a youngster like yourself. You are POTN's apprentice. If you choose to do this type of photography, maybe you could ask Charles to be your Master teacher!

YUp i know she is...shes showing it off... erg she mights start attracting other guyys...Ill have to fend them off in hordes
