Pekka,
Will you quietly invite a few more people as you did myself? I do not e-mail many of the dpreviewers outside. I would be happy to zap a few people on dpreview over here.

What you should do is avoid releasing the address on the dpreview forum as I said before. Eventually, as more people register, word will make it to dpreview because this can not stay a secret forever(if it is?)

One little site related observation:
I noticed that when you click on the Large "Digital Photography Forum" logo at the top it sends you directly to your main home page. Is this intentional? I often have been clicking it to trying to get back to this homepage.

Hi curby,

Of course this will become fully public and it's ok to do so. I just wanted to have it well structured by then (If I have to delete some board, all messages of the board will be deleted from database). I will add links to my gallery and I suppose that will draw a lot of people here.

I'm quite busy today and tomorrow so the last tuning will be done on weekend.

This is a forced email-registration forum if you want to post. IP bans don't work because most people have dynamic IP's and some ISP has one IP for all customers. I have an easy and quick admin system which lets me ban emails, and delete users and messages.

I can also assign any of you moderator rights, and you can delete and edit messages with those privileges.

I would not like to advertise this forum in dpreview.com myself, as I have no intention on stepping on Phil's toes and I don't want him to have an impression that want to draw people from there to here. I don't. I have no resources like Phil, and so I can not afford to maintain such a big lot in this server alone.

Hopefully this will become the forum for "serious" users.

I'll change the forum logo URL to a page which has not beed done yet, which will be http://studio-on-the.net/photography/index.html

This is coming along very nicely. I like the addition of
The "Just Talk"section. This is exactly the place we should be talking about this right now.

Placing a subtle link on you home page would be a great Idea. It would be interesting to see who shows up and registers.

Oh, how will we be able to post photos?

Keep up the good work.

These reply windows could get very long I bet. I am very glad that I have a mouse with a scroll wheel.
Oh hey, Pekka.
It looks like you made the font size smaller in the reply window (correct?)
