20D, 10-22mm at 10mm, ISO 100, f/8.0, 1/200, polarizing filter

I just managed to snap this before it started raining. I love our local mountains, and you'll see more of them.

The rock in the foreground really adds depth to the picture. The clouds make me think that its a very windy day... Great shot.

I also like it. The clouds give it kind of an eerie feeling. Nice.

Great SHOT!!! don't you love that lens!!! If it were as sharp as my 28-75, I'd superglue it to my 20D ;)

BTW: what CP are you using? I am looking for one for my 10-22 but have heard a lot of concerns w/vignetting ..

I too was going to ask about your circular polorizer. I just picked up a Hoya for my 10-22 as I hated not shooting LS with out one, and it was about damn time I got one. I went with the Hoya as it was conseratively priced compared to some of the others I saw at the camera shop. Man a super nice quality CP for 77mm is $200! Holy moly!

Thats a great shot, great light, dramatic clouds and mountains in the background, and a cool wide angle (need to get that lens myself..) A+.

Wonderful composition and color. It really takes advantage of the 10-22 lens.
