Caught this fox with my 100-400mm. I still had to be sneaky and he didn't stick around for long. :D

Another cool shot. The foreground is little distracting. Nice work, again....

Great capture! I don't find the foreground distracting in the least. In fact, IMO it adds to the shot, by underscoring how elusive these creatures are and that the photographer had to shoot from cover. Nice job.

Super! I agree with Airedale1. The gras in the foreground ads to the nature of the fox.
Elusive creatures indeed.

WOW. Almost every time then I don't have my camera, I come across a great possible picture (fox, turkey, eagle, deer, etc. - I know I sound the like the angles who's biggest fish got away... ) What I'm getting at: I love the images you are posting. It looks like you are often at the right spot and at the right time with your camera. Keep posting.:D

Awesome shot there... what part of the country are you in? I've never been able to come across a grey fox like that even though they're around. We did have a very, very nice melanistic fox brought to us at work a few years ago.

And let me just say, the people that contribute to this forum do some amazing work all-around. The inspiration is appreciated!

Great shot. Looks like you woke him up from a nap. Please don't tell me that the grass is that green in Edmonton already.

Wonderful shot Dave. We had a pair of foxes and their kits next door three years ago. I never could get any where near that close, even by being as stealthy as possible. I admire your success. Thanks for sharing.
