Hello
I just downloaded VirtualPhotographer from opticVerve and tried to install it by dbl-clicking on the exe file. I got the error "The application failed to initialize properly(0xc0000005). Click on OK to terminate the application." I tried again by d/l ing it again with the same result. Any clue? Or can anyone please send me the extracted files in a zip format? My e-mail jhsurti@rediffmail.com
Thanks a lot.

It sounds like the download is corrupted. Check the file size on your hard drive and compare it to the size of the download on the web. If there is a mirror site try downloading from there.

I downloaded it from their site thrice from different PC's and once also from ZDNet downloads. The file size is 274k.

Is the 274k the size on your HDD and the size the web site states for the download?
I may have the file on my other machine somewhere, I seem to remember downloading it sometime ago. If I have I'll send it to you later today:)

I tried sending it but your server has bounced it back because of the .exe file extension:(

Why don't you extract the files to a folder, zip them with winzip or winrar and send me the zipped file? That should work instead of the exe file.
Thanks a lot for taking the trouble.

Just give it a different extension. As long as the recipient knows what to change it back to it'll go through.
