Problems viewing Ixus V2 AVI's on anything other than XP! Ca [Archive]

I have an Ixus V2, i take a lot of movies.. which work fine in XP but not in NT, is there a tool or program i can use to convert them... or is there a codec?

The problem isn't (well, shouldn't be) an OS related problem. I assume that you probably have QuickTime or some other software that uses the MJPEG codec installed on your WinXP machine and not on the WinNT machine.

If you want just the codec, install QuickTime. If you want to convert the files VirtualDub (http://www.virtualdub.org) has a built-in MJPEG decompressor. If you need instructions look here:
