I'd love to have some possums pose for me! The koalas are much easier to photgraph because they don't race away & around here they're very relaxed whereas any possums I ever see hide quickly.

I think that's sleep hanging out of the eyes
they never stop sleeping hanging out on the eucalyptus trees ( & eating all day)

Nice.I've seen a few of these in the wild, but always at the tops of trees and beyond reach !

around here they're very relaxed
Chewing eucalyptus tends to have that effect :-) !

We've had them close enough to touch and even had them sniff our hands. It's hard to know but I think they do a circuit so it's the same ones returning.
