Which one do you prefer?
Both taken with 40D/60mm Macro lens.

I think the first photo would be best if the pebble was totally in focus.
I prefer the second photo, simply because I feel that the subject is so beautiful that everything should be in sharp focus, however, I like the composition of photo #1 better.
The colors are stunning!! (^_^)

Composition is better in #1, because the subject is more or less over one of the intersections of the lines dividing into thirds.

I see that you have "IMAGE EDITING OK", so I hope you don't mind me tinkering around. I think #2 is best, because of focus and lighting, if you just move things around a bit:

Why is it so soft? Are these cropped highly?
