Pictures were taken at China P&E 2009 show. Please criticize from professional perspective. I am not a pro, really want to improve my skills. Thanks a lot.

You have to get clear, complete shots of the dress--good enough for low-end manufacturers to copy the designs.

Want to clarify here. China P&E show is International Photograph & Electrical Imaging Machinery and Technology Fair, not a fashion show. It is common to have a model show during the fair. I was trying different style of shooting instead of complete shots, not intend to copy the design.
Because I am not sure this kind of style, that is the purpose of posting those pics.

I'm no fashion photographer either, and I do like the exposure.

As far as design, I question the intent of the photo as it;s certainly not fashion.

What is the original point for the shot?

Great ASS shot, but style in my opinion is questionable as its more artsy than fashion.

BTW, The first shot is the one I like.

I miss the intent of the set. Change up the angles maybe?

The first one is not bad in terms of composition but would be improved with less depth of field - the background is still a bit too distracting.

I am not going into the style or intent of the photo, though, just those points.

I think the same of annavera.
