Went to DC for a short trip two weeks ago. The cherry blossoms around the Tidal Basin were at their peak.

The last one is great. Where is that stone statue located? This year was the first time that i visited DC for the cherry blossom festival and it was real nice down there.

The second shot is very nice, the tree frames the picture well and the focal point is on the building in the distance.

Cheme, the statue is located on the very west side of the Tidal Basin, near the new FDR memorial. I don't know if the statue has any significance or history to it, but it goes nicely with the cherry blossoms.
