Peekabo With The Sun

Been messing around with night and day sky pics. I took some of the full moon the other night but they were horrible. Any suggestions as to shooting night sky shots? Give it to me in lamens terms as best you can. In the meantime, this is where the sun seemed to be playing peekaboo with the world the other day. Slapped a little border on it...just because I felt like messing around in PS. Any tips on how to add a shadow box to pics and other fun types of framing options? Email or IM me direct. Thanks.
