Saw this fading (plastic?) poinsetta in the window and had to take a shot. I could see it in my mind as a B&W.

XT kit lens @ F/9, 400ISO Converted to B&W, added noise and a Sepia filter.

I like the idea and the coloring is nice.
Have you tried a crop that's tighter? Maybe just above the 2nd(dark) pipe?

That's an interesting shot, but it's way too big to get a sense of composition.

I like it. First look wasn't much but as I look more it is interesting. And I'm not sure about cropping. I think it looks good this way and would lose impact if cropped much. I'm not sure what PhotosGuy means but I think if it was cropped you would lose a sense of proportion.

I like it how it is, it is meant to be subtle and it really works.

This is pretty interesting. Opinion seems to be evenly split between leaving it as is or cropping it to add more focus on the flowers. What is funny, is that the same discussion happened here at the house before I posted it, with the same results, evenly split.

I'm not sure what PhotosGuy means but I think if it was cropped you would lose a sense of proportion. No, I mean that it's too tall on my screen to see it all at once. Even F11 doesn't show the whole pic. Most people use 1024 X 768, so a max image height of 550 or width of 700 works out well.

Sorry about that, sometimes I forget that not everyone is running 1600x1200 or better. I'll shrink it when I get home tonight.

My six year old was the tiebreaker - he said, "Leave it." Hard to argue with such a brilliant and open mind.
