I'm trying to spend a little bit of time each day using my 550 EX so that when I really need to use it, I'll have a clue what I'm doing. Tonight, I shot the sunset through my backyard fence. Typically I would have just silhouetted the fence, but the flash allowed me to get some of the texture of the fence and the sunset. (Sorry if this is Digital Photography 101 for some people -- one of the things I find the most exciting about this pursuit is how there's always something to learn.) Anyhow, just thought I'd share what a little fill flash (and processing) can do.
