One last vaulter!
She won the event for her high school (not the overall meet). I don't recall what the winning height was. I believe the bar is at 7' 6".

Thanks, I'm happy with the 20D. It seems to do a pretty good job at the track meets.

Ya the burst mode is great for events such as the pole vault. I was able to send a 10 frame vault to a friend of mine who I shot.

As far as the shot goes, the tree greatly takes away from the main subject, party because the angle is so wide. Another thing I noticed is how the colors change so much from frame to frame. Notice the last 2 pictures provided. The sky is a much lighter and cooler blue in the 2nd to last picture. How is this? Keep your post-processing consistant.

I noticed that also but haven't gotten around to fixing it. I'll see what I can do tonight ;-)
