Anywhere you want, basically.

Lots of people sign the print itself.

I initial the print itself, sign my full name, date, edition title and number (ex 35/200) on the back.

I dont do matting or framing but I hear a lot of people don't sign the print at all, and instead just sign the mat with a signature, edition number and their full name in pencil

I had a similar question like this, but i learned its basically simple...freelance, do whatever you want

I initial the bottom right hand corner of the mat board in pencil, just below the mat window.

I sign and date the back of the print in silver sharpie across the middle, so it cannot be removed without destroying the print.
