I don't have a clue what happened, but I like it. Please let me know what you think. I think I inadvertently hit the shutter button when I was going outside? This is a shot in our dining room (looking toward the living room). I decided to bump up the exposure in the second version. What do you think?

Looks like you've bumped the camera onto a slow shutter speed. This is actually a technique often used for impressionist photography and you can get some amazing results. Google impressionist photography and see if you like it. It's not everyone's taste but if you like that 'smeared light' look, you'll probably be into it.

Welcome to impressionist photography!
Otherwise known as in-camera-creative blurring techniques. Lots of people in street photography love this.
I've done images recently in this genre by pioneering it with pelican photography

It's not everyone's taste, like LC said but if you find you're an impressionist lover then I hope you do more! Abstract is beautiful.

Thanks for the information on impressionistic photography. I checked a few sites on this style, and it looks llike there is a lot of potential to shift creativity within photography. Cheers!
