Took a trip out to Oran Park raceway today. Seriously didn’t realize it was only 15 minutes drive up the road from my house. I think I will be heading out there on a frequent basis from now on.
Anyway I went to take a few shots of the formula Vee series and to test out the 5D with the new 70-200 f/4 L but was treated to a few production car races as well. First time using AI servo mode as well which was pretty cool (although I might need a bit more practice with it). Here are only a few of the many shots I took… C&C is welcome.

Some nice photos there mate!!
I frequently visit oran park for IDA drift days and other events, there is a skylines australia event there on june the 12th on the GP circuit.
Nice to see another shooter around the sydney area :)

Do you think the white balance is a little off? or did you do it intentionally?

No worries. Still not 100% yet, will have to run it by the social director (wife) to see if I'm free :lol:

Yeah, it's a tad on the warm side. It was actually intentional to be a little warmer than what the natural light at the time had on offer but I may have over cooked it a little.

Haha yeah I think he was trying to lean in and get for some airodynamics but it does look like he's trying to get it to go faster :lol:
