Tripod Problems

hey guys

I know a lot of you have manfrotto tripods

I got the 714B with my camera and have had 2 issues with the legs locking in

one of the clips broke on the weekend when I went to set it up

I have hardly used it and only had it 8 months with all these troubles

I'm taking it back on the weekend to where I bought it

just wanted to know if anyone else has had issues with them

My 714B is in getting repaired because one of the clips (the middle one) broke. I had it 6 weeks. 3 weeks now and it's not back yet. I think there was a defect in the plastic molding holding the latch on. I saw pitting on the broken surface.

I wonder if the 724B is any better.

My tripod came back today. It looks like they replaced the catch lock on the leg. Turn around time one day short of 3 weeks. Cost was shipping.
