slow in IE fine in Firefox

The gallery that I have created works fine in Firefox but in IE it's as slow as anything some of the thumbnails don't load in IE either.

I checked out your site (nice, btw) and the only delay I see is in the initial loading of the site in both IE and FF. Once loaded, both run quickly from page to page and load images quite fast. I even tested the thumbs page with 500 per page in both browsers. That page loaded quickly in both browsers, and the images loaded in a reasonable amount of time.

Have you tried clearing the cache in both browsers and comparing then? What versions of IE and FF are you running? On what OS?

Latest version of FF (1.0.3)
and also latest version of IE (whatever that is)
on XP pro

Yes I have tried clearing the cache. I still have problems in IE with some of the thumbnails just not appearing (they appear if I go to another page and then return)
If it's just me I don't care but as the majority of my users will be looking with IE I wanted to check.
