Glass Photography - Pipes

I really want to build myself a lightbox or buy a cheap one, but for now a desk lamp, on-camera flash, and whatever ambient lighting is available will have to do. ANY and all feedback or advice/critiques are appreciated!

Ummm, what are they really? Pipes of some sort I'm guessing. I'm also guessing the doggy looking thing is just that - a doggy looking thing.

Well, the legal name for them is tobacco pipes but they are actually used to smoke other substances and Ive personally never seen some one put Tobacco in it

Haha, I never saw those pictures like that! Now I can't unsee it.

Yes, all of them are hand blown tobacco pipes. Yep, they can be used for other substances, but if they are then I can't take photos of 'em until they're clean again. :P The dogs are pipes too, although I set them out as cute figurines on my nightstand. I love glass figurines and pipes, but pipes are easier for me to buy since I get a hefty discount from a local store. :3
