Are you saying the dog is dangerous? If so, you are terribly wrong.

I agree April Bullies or Squishies as I call them are the sweetest of dogs I have had three of them myself.
To all new bulldog owners you do have to be careful of heat with them you cannot leave them outside for long.

Some guy at work tried to convince us of this to. I kept trying to tell him he is most likely mistaken about the dog he seen, most likely a Pitt Bull or something similar.

I have Pit Bulls, and I raise Pit Bulls. The ONLY thing that makes them mean is the ghetto trash that owns them and makes them that way, trust me, I've been into the breed for years. American Pit Bull Terriers (as well as any other bully) are DA (dog aggressive) breeds, meaning at any point in there life, they CAN become dog aggressive, just part of the breed and you can *try* to train it out but its probably not happening. Now as far as human aggression, IF any bully breed is EVER human aggressive, it should be put down immediately, I do not care how close you are to your dog. If it ever acts like that, its had a tough life, a Bully just does not do that just do to it.
Hope I clarified that for ya, don't say all the he said she said stuff if you do not know if it is true.
Oh and btw, I have a 20 month old daughter, the ONLY way she will go to sleep for naps and at night is if my Pit Bull sleeps IN her bed with her :)

Oh dont get me wrong, I realize its mostly in the owners. I just found it hard to believe he was telling me it was a Bulldog attacking a kid. Course it could be, because he lives out in the country, and no telling what kind of folks he lives around and what kind of animals they raise.

Thanks...
She has Razors Edge and Brooks bloodline. Yes, she is 76 pounds so really to big for a true APBT but she has her papers.

Yea, she is an ambully, but judging from the pictures, she is correct looking. She looks like she is built very good, here is my girl, SO tired of the people that just think all "Pit Bulls" are just Pit Bulls and mine is skinny . She is PERFECT standard :)

Dangerous? I guess you have to be careful not to trip over it if you get up in the middle of the night. And the drool could be 'dangerous' to upholstery.
As I recall, labrador retrievers have more reported bite incidents.

They do, but they do not get the ratings (same attention). News stations and news papers are all about ratings. News about attacks done by a "pit bull" gets more ratings (media coverage) that if the same story is done on a "lab attack".
Not to mention the term "Pit Bull" is very generic and is used to describe any bully type breed/mix.

Very Nice April. I noticed you male is more of an American Bully. Do plan to breed the two?

There are MANY reasons why a person should breed, and 1% of the people are behind that reasoning, if you are out to make any money at all whatsoever, you are doing it for the wrong reason.

I laughed when I read it but didn't bother to respond. Oliver is a great dog, kinda bull in a china shop type but other than that. I agree with other posters, bad dogs come from bad owners most of the time. Bully breed or Chihuahuas!
