I really like how he's so protective of her in #5! I think it's a wonderful set of photos and I'm sure the couple will love them!

Not bad at all. It's a great set in my opinion. I like some of the different angles you used. Colors are great as well.

Thanks, Svetlana :)
Whenever I shoot that location, I always have my couples do that pose.... I think it's so cute, and they always end up loving it :)

Thanks for noticing..... I really played around with angles this time.... not to mention she was about 3 inches taller than him, so I HAD to shoot angles as not to showcase this, lol

Shorts,
Thanks :) It's my fake HDR attempt, lol....
I desaturate by about -72, do some masking, and some serious high pass sharpening

That is a great Shot (#7)...I dont think this effect work on faces when it comes to engagement photos. This photo is a great representation of how this should be used. Its the texture of the sand and the cold beach water that make this photo.
do you have a flickr account?...i would really like to ad this to my favs.

NO it definitely would not work on faces... only certain photos call for this type of edit.
I do not have a flickr account, sorry :(

nice stuff... very appropriate composition throughout the set (ie. great background choices/angle choices).

I have an engagement shoot coming up.. I'm a little more inspired now having seen these :)

Ray,

Hahaha, I know, huh? As I was editing, some shots were eerie, because I felt like I was editing my own photos.

Yea, I hear ya.... to each their own, tho..... they're a very kick back couple, so I guess they wanted to portray that in their photos.
I can relate, tho... I'm a flip flip kinda gal :)

I guess I never thought of telling my clients what kind of shoes to wear... I always focused on the shirts n pants category. Good to know ;)
