I just want to say a big thanks to this forum and the people that make it so great. What a wonderful place it is to be surrounded with Canon loving people that are so willing and eager to help sharing their wealth of knowledge.

I've really enjoyed my short time he so far and the generosity of members is really outstanding.

as a newbie I have to agree... I have learned more from this forum in a matter of weeks than I did from a year f reading books about photography...

Yeah I know it's a bit mushy and all :oops: but I just really felt the urge to give something back by commending the great forum that this is and it's only so great because of the great people that populate it.

For a newbie the wealth of information on tap is just incredible. As rumplepigskin said in a post above. You can just learn so much here thats very hard to gain the same amount of skillset from just reading photography books and mags.
