A friend of mine let me take some shots of her car collection to get some practice, i'm slowly getting there but forgot polarising filter and really need to get some tuition so i can get angles etc correct.

I'd say that's a fairly good start.

The crops are a little tight in my opinion. Give the viewer a little lead in room.

I think #2 is the weakest one. Half the car is cut off and I keep on wanting to see the rest of it. And the last pic, maybe a larger DOF and a step or two to the left to get the orange car fully in the pic, but still a nice pic.

But the rest of the them are pretty good.

These look pretty good. As to, "forgot polarising filter", I don't use one & would shoot in "late light" instead, as in the links in my Sig.

I like your friend's car collection. Like a mini-Seinfeld.

oh yeah.. early in the day or later in the day with cars.. Harsh light around noon is killer.. I hate it!.

Plus with like the sun setting you can get some pretty sweet colours reflected onto the white cars

Last 2 are very nicely done with the cars lit just enough to peek out of the garage!
