Very nice shots , I particularly like no. 2 - great DOF. Just how old is the church? Thanks. According to the guide of the downtown walking tour, it was built in 1854: "Christ Episcopal exemplifies the Early English style of Gothic architecture. Richard Upjohn, founder of the American Institute of Architects, designed the granite church. The stone bell tower was added 1861. Christ Church was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1988."

Nice... I've driven by that church a bunch of times, and never bothered to stop and take photos of it.

Nice... I've driven by that church a bunch of times, and never bothered to stop and take photos of it.That's a common complaint we all have. I grew up practically in the shadow of the Empire State Building and never went to the top until I was 21. And I always assumed there would be plenty of time to get pictures of the World Trade Center...

If you didn't say where it was at I would have guessed EuropeThere are a number of older (1700s and 1800s) churches in the US with a distinct European flavor!
