Location: La Jolla, CA, April 26, 2005
Weather: Overcast, spotty sunshine. Hazy
Equipment: 20D, 75-300 lens, haze filter
Settings: Autofocus, 800 ISO

Comments: This particular spot caught my eye as the waves were crashing on the coastline in La Jolla. Again, please be gentle; I have had NO time with this incredible camera, and I know that it could be much better. If anyone has some constructive commentary, I'd love to learn!

Thanks, and enjoy!

I am no expert, but if i were you, I would take a wider perspective. It is alittle to close IMHO.

I like the shot as it is. If anything, I would only maybe apply some more USM.
The photo conveys the strenght of the wave against the rocks, and it is interesting exaclty because it shows detail.
A wider perspective would be another photo, but in my opinion this one is great as it is.
I enjoy spending some time just looking at the waves breaking and this reminds me of those moments. Brings some inner peace.

Thanks for sharing.
