Advice needed: San Francisco & Sonoma Valley

Hello All,

I'm an east coaster about to vacation in the San Francisco area. We plan to be right in the city (visiting my daughter), and also touring the Sonoma valley.

Any suggestions on good places to photograph, particularly at the good times of day (early morning, golden hour)? I'm interested in landscapes, be they urban or natural, nature shots, interesting city shots...

Photo ops in SF are infinite, one of my faves, Muir Woods.
