Hey, all --
I have an EF-500 Super flash (NOT the DG Super -- the plain ol' EF-500 Super). I used it with my Canon EOS 7 and got great results.
But now I have a Digital Rebel XT. And now every photo I take with my EF-500 is blown out -- completely overpowered by the flash.
I've tried various settings, and checked everything over and over. No luck. The only way to get a good photo is to set the flash exposure compensation to -2.
Does anyone have any idea why I might be having this problem? Is there something different about the Digital Rebel line compared to the 35-mm EOS? Can I not use the EF-500 with the Digital Rebel?
Thanks for any, um, light you can shed on this!
