This photo was taken in 1984 with a conventional SLR. I scanned the photo into PS and converted to B&W except for the flag.

Very nice! Fix the frame though (it's touching the top of the sail). Nice touch with the flag (subtle). I thought we weren't supposed to wave the flag like our American brothers and that only they knew what patriotism is.
I'm glad to see there is another Canuck with red & white flowing through his viens!

Seriously though, it's a wonderful shot of an historic ship. Is the original B&W or did you convert after scanning?

I choose a different frame and it looks better,thanks for the comment. I converted to B&W after scanning.
