G'day all! Shotrtly I'm about to embark on a tour of the USA for 8 weeks and have a Lowepro fastpack 350 to put my gear in (canon 50d, 24-105, 10-22, laptop & external drives etc).

What I'm looking for is a weather cover for my bag. I have searched and read a few posts about REI and going to a camping store to get a cover etc. I will do this as a last resort, but thought I'd put up a post in the hope that there is another option, such as optional extra from Lowepro (couldn't see one on their site), or maybe asking if it is posible to use a cover from a fastpack 250 even though the 350 is a slightly bigger bag in 2 dimensions?

Any ideas? I know I'm travelling from August to October, but I'm certain to run into a couple of wet days, and also I'm going to Niagra Falls so I'm expecting some moisture.

So, anyone have any ideas for a cover that doesn't impact the fastpack ease of use?

The guy in the reviews of this cover says he uses it for the Fastpack 350:

But if anybody finds a cheaper alternative that fits a Fastpack 350 well, I'd love to hear about it too... I've been looking for a rain cover for my FP350 as well.

I do not understand why Lowepro did not include the AW Cover.

why not consider the lowepro slingshot?

I would have bought the Slingshot 350 AW but it didn't match carry-on regulations so I had to choose the Fastpack instead.
