Canon printer ink wont dispense

Anyone have a problem with an ink cartrage that won't let out the ink. Any way to make it work? :(

I presume you took the tape off the cartridge ! ? Also try tapping it on a hard surface.

thanks Marshall, I tried banging it and the tape is off, I even tried poking at the hole with a hanger. I hate to get yellow everywhere though, I guess I just got a bad cartridge. It's scared to come out-It's yellow.

Probably faulty. Could you take it back to where you got it from?

Something else to try may be running the head cleaning utility a few times. It could be that the ink cartridge is fine but the print head needs replacing.

Try cleaning the nozzles with the utility that comes with the printer.
