Hey guys,
I got a situation this sunday. I'll be doing a photoshoot at the chicago botanic garden. The thing is the family I'm shooting are pretty heavyset, Is there any way you guys can help me by giving me some poses that i can use for them? She kinda hint me that she doesn't want to show her stomach and etc. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks guys.

Have them wear clothes that are "slimming" and shoot from a higher angle. Have them turned at a 45 degree angle from camera. That's all I can think of at the moment.

Since you'll be at a botanical garden; you may have many interesting/picturesque/colorful opportunities(flora) to help cover/minimize/reduce/screen areas of complex.
More standing than sitting, more angles than mug or profile. Basic posing principles will apply; Contrapposto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contrapposto) - show edge of hands or handbag in front of mid section; shoulders turned away and angled; leaning weight on one foot, the other pointing down and out; heads tilted in toward center; dynamic body angles; 'if it bends, then bend it' posing; pyramid/diamond/circular group posing, eye to mouth posing; genuine smiles; so on and on...
