Lots of great themes available for Wordpress.

And, if you try one and don't like it you can change it with out upsetting your website.

Wordpress is pretty easy to install and use.

Are you hosting it yourself? For a business related blog, I would.

I use blogspot and it's been fine, nice and easy to use, a good number of theme options, linked to my google account so no need to set up another profile. You can check it out at www.simonbills.com if you want to see how it looks.

I'd recommend using a good number of your photos in a blog, I recently saw a wedding photographer's blog and there wasn't a single photo in the last 10 entries, certainly wouldn't make me want to book them.

Can a blog be your primary site effectively, do you think?

Thanks for the tips guys. This would pretty much be a personal blog, that would be host by the blog site, and not myself.

I use wordpress for my blog (see sig). Although I don't use it there is a GREAT free app for the iphone that allows you to post right to your blog from your phone.

If i'm interpreting your question correctly, yes. I'm using WordPress as a CMS (content management system) and the 'blog' is only one page of my site, the others being: landing, photos, about/contact. This was my first foray into web design but it's not hard to get the hang of.

Could you share your site with me?
