My girlfriend just got new wheels put on her car today so we went for a quick shoot right when the sun was going down. this was the closest location to shoot from by my house i could use. i know the angles are pretty repetitive but i was shooting with what i could work with. kit lens' dont zoom well or get very wide.

her car is being turned into a honda integra step by step.

feel free to C&C

Thanks for looking!

yeah its awesome to drive. i used to own a 300+awhp subaru GC8 and this honda is actually about the same on the fun scale because it handles so well and is very responsive. even for being stock power wise.

Nice car, decent shots. Some of the angles are a bit much for me, but not bad.

Nice light on them. I like this one best, but wish the building wasn't so bright & I could do without the crease in the pavement, too.

hey nice shots. try to experiment with some lower perspectives....get lower to the ground, at the car's level...it will make for some sweet shots!

good job,

-Dan

yeah its in need of some better side skirts. at lower angles the car looks too high up and un level along the bottom. so slightly higher shots make it look lower. i did get some low shots but i also was trying to keep things like poles and buildings from cutting through the car as much as i could help.

i also should add that i didnt use photoshop because i dont have it anymore. so i just did some contrast and saturation adjustments.

thanks for the comments!:)

so youre going to convert to RHD? because otherwise its never going to be a honda.

every stock rsx has the words honda written all over them. but in the idea that "every real honda is rhd" i guess no... but you get the point im sure

Its a cool location since the blue logos and doors matches the car

However, for such a shoot, I would recommend off-camera flashes

the only equipment i have and can afford (i spend all my money on golf) is my tripod and stock XTi kit with a CPL.

no photoshoping here because id rather buy a titleist voky spin milled wedge for my more important bag haha.

so for my its all natural lighting or whatever i can use.

Wait, she had the wheels put on? I thought that's what a boyfriend was for...

Nice shots, but all the angles seem to jump between 3-4 different angles. Try to vary it up some and be a little more creative with the angles. Nice rsx by the way.

These are great for the kit lens!
I too shoot with the 18-55.
What focal length did you shoot #1 at? It's my favorite.

i think it was pretty close to 18mm. maybe just a little higher if not.

yeah after i uploaded the images i was happy how they turned out. the XTi kit lens isnt the greatest glass so these photos surpassed my expectations lol.

thanks for the comments!
