just got the neon back from getting a new clutch, cleaned her up and had to go snap a few shots. i was going to shoot some static shots with lighting but i was hungry/lazy/tired.

I might tone down the sky a bit in #2 to make the car pop out more, but both are good shots. Keep in mind that our eyes are drawn to the brighter parts of the shot. And those bright areas tend to make the dark car look even darker. Take a look at POST #30 near the bottom: The gray bar at the center is the same density all the way across.

So I might tone down down the bright areas, except in the body, & darken the bottom of the pavement.

i darken the pavement some, then darkened it even more LOL but it made the whole image too dark i think

the sky was edited in, then i just played with the levels, saturation, contrast, ect....

then darkened it even more LOL but it made the whole image too dark i think Adjustment Layers are one answer:
