First time seeing this gem in Toronto. A real off roader finally vs the "urban onroader" you get with AWD.

Still on UK plates as well. Wonder if it's just visiting :-)

You noticed that eh? People seems to think it's newly imported. It was sitting at the back of an ambulance station. Maybe they got it for the crazy snow we have been having.

The bumper looks like he moved a "urban onroader" out of the way?

Don't think it's visiting guys unless it's there for a while as there is no sign of a UK tax disc. The tax disc has to be displayed bottom left of the windSCREEN (not windshield) and is a paper disc about 31/2" in diameter retained in a holder which must be fully visible.
The screen is so clean I can't even see traces of the holder hence my thought that it's been out of country for a while.

Could always be wrong though!!!!!

If it was visiting from the UK that's a long way to take your car. Only other car I have seen right hand drive was a skyline.

No sorry. I can see if the car's parked there again and try to take one. I didn't feel comfortable because as you might have noticed there's a security camera there.

Guys you all need to get over here to S.E England, Little Defenders like that are very very common here (Popular with farmers)
Without wanting to poke fun at any of the comments it's quite amusing the admiration that is being displayed. It's amazing the things we take for granted so to speak,
This is a shot of my friends 'Landy' right before he sold it.

Interesting.
Acccording to the reg plate, it was registered in 1992 in Swindon (Wiltshire).

Getting on a bit the old girl, but bet it could wipe the floor with newer 4x4's hands down.
Nice catch.

Trucks typically last a while. My bro's 17 year old Ford Explorer's still working. He drives it when he's afraid his BMW will get stuck in the snow.

Another old gal (bad photo as I was rushing, my car's the one behind and the passing murano's my friend's car which I was suppose to follow to a restaurant)

Unfortunately, due to gubmint regulations, LR can't export them here (United States). I think they were only imported here 3-4 yrs. Maybe in a few years, are a redesign, we'll start getting new Defenders. <fingers crossed>

Hard to believe in a redesign for Defenders.

really a new defender? I think it really depends on whether their new master Tata motor thinks it's a good idea. Although maybe they'll find a market in India for such cars?
