One thing I could never understand is the choice of flash head turn angles on EX 430II.
580 can turn either way 180 degrees like an owl so there is not problem here.
430 according to the specification can turn 180 left and 90 right.
So if I am not mistaken turning left 120 degrees would point directly into the photographer's forehead as most look at the viewfinder with their right eye.
On the other side there is nothing in the way of light when turning the flash head 120 degrees left but it is not possible with 430. Isn't it counterintuitive ?
