This is a great little tool that works for the 40D and 450D as well. The only drawback is that is that you have to connect your camera to a laptop / pc via a USB cable. There is some work happening in the CHDK community to add this support via firmware but the activity there has been minimal; I have been checking out the forums there from time to time.

Don't worry about what the page says. Just download the tool, connect your cam via USB, and run the program. The software is self explanatory and easy to use
