Old mill relics (4pics)

Nature taking hold of old relics from the cedar mill that closed down in 1927 and a random grouse that hopped by. Lyyn headwaters North Vancouver B.C.

Great pics but that cant be an old relic the last one? (is a type of dove/pigeon?)

Third shot is best. What did you do in PS to get it to look that way...doesn't seem pure B&W. It's got that old school look to it.

The bird looks like a Pacific blue grouse.

This bird was there hanging out on my stroll through the woods. It's a Grouse, I've been told it's displaying the yellow on it's neck to attract a mate.


Third shot is best. What did you do in PS to get it to look that way...doesn't seem pure B&W. It's got that old school look to it.

Simplest way would be, remove colors desaturate/channel mixer then ad a tint of yellow and red via variations.
