This appears to be one of those shots when one is presented with a moment and the wrong lens is on the camera. A head shot would have had more impact. As it is, there's out of focus stuff between the camera and subject. That's not so good. The gray background on the upper left and right edges suggests that this is a zoo shot. There's nothing wrong with that per se. However, my inclination would be to take out every artificial feature from the image. A close crop on the head would have done that.

Wish I had more like that from the zoo :-/. I like seeing the body as part of the interest is trying to assess if it's in a "pouncing" position, though I don't really get that impression which is a touch disappointing. Nice overall though. Cheers, Tony

I think a frontal shot would've been nice. Unfortunately, this doesn't do much for me. And as Joedlh said, the leaves that are out of focus between the subject is distracting.
