Sigma 50-500 or 150 to 500

Hi just looking for opinions.
If you had the choice between a Sigma 50-500 no IS (Bigma) or the 150-500 with IS (BigMos) Which would you chose.

Please just limit response to these 2 lens's

I'd go for the IS (OS) absolutely.

I used to have the 50-500mm.. it was an exceptional lens for it's price. and was amazing the IQ you could get from a 10X zoom,.
But the slow aperture and weight made it an absolute must to shoot on a monopod or tripod.. and I'd give up that 50-150 range in a heart beat to get better and lighter.

The general consensus is that the 50-500 has fractionally better IQ than the 150-500, however the OS system on the 150-500 is awesome. I have posted quite a few images as have others taken with the BIGMOS and it is the one I would recommend the IS system makes it far more useable.

that not true. I shoot with it handheld all day long. :rolleyes:
