I took this shot in my Mom's front yard. I would have liked for the sun to be in a little different position but I like it. Please comment. Thanks. :eek:

:D Nice colors, John. Just a suggestion, I think the picture could stand to be a little sharper. Hummm... that's the same feedback I get from the forum!

Ladyhawk: Thanks for the reply and the suggestion. I'm just tiptoeing into photography and it's a really satisfying venture. I made the step up to my Powershot S1IS after using a Sony point-and-shoot for the last couple of years. I'm really enjoying it but I don't have a true macro mode, so I purchased the Canon 500D dual element close-up lens (52mm). It screws on like a filter. I used it for this photo. I'm really pleased with it so far. In a couple of years I'll have to jump up there with the rest of you SLR folks, when I get the $$$ that is :o.
