I bought a light kit ffrom Jensens Best. I know it was cheap. The radio trigger with brand new batteries works good for aabout 15 flashes then starts firing the strobes at random. What could be the problem. Should I get a different trigger?

Depending upon the frequency, it might only be RF crosstalk with something else using the same frequency band. Does it mention what frequency it operates at?
Maybe the unit does not well tolerate voltage drop in batteries (what kind of battery, alkaline, NiMH...?)

send it back with a complaint, ask for a new one. If the new one is just as bad, chalk it up to a learning experience "you get what you pay for" and go buy something decent...'there is no such thing as a free lunch"
