Managed to get to the Silverstone test session yesterday. Shame only Williams and Jordan were there, and that spectating was limited to Luffield. Ended up with a lot of similar shots :(

Andy, awesome job on the panning. Might I enquirer as to what settings you used?

Nicely done, Andy. That's not an easy location to get interesting shots from! :)

Damn it! I heard about the tyre testing too late so pop over, is there a schedule of all tyre testing days there?
Nice shots! I've heard if you can blag it that you can get onto the inside of the track by saying you're going to the driving school.

Yes, you can. Unfortunately it's a pointless exercise. That gets you to the inside of the Grand Prix loop (by the "Stowe Circuit") where there are no good angles for photography whatsoever and some stonking great debris fences in he way.

Nice shots Andy....I must have seen you there!!
I took something like 300 shots over two days...Tuesday was OK, the spray after the rain made for some dramatic effects, but Wednesday was best weatherwise.
I don't want to hijack your thread, but I got a few shots of the Jordan breaking down:)

I don't think that these were done at f/1. Looks more like f/5.6 to me
Nice pictures, though!
Best regards,
